About Dr. Feldman
On To Health is what I conceived after participating and working in several health care environments.
Health, I believe is subject to our life style and therefore must be viewed within that context. It is true that we are what we eat but we are also what we sleep, think, exercise, and breathe. We are also what we were, meaning at least in part, our genes contribute to our health picture.
Medicine and modern science have collaborated in recent years, producing incredible advances in trauma care (advanced surgical procedures, skin and organ transplant, and AIDS research), but a vacuum has been created in which medicine has been applied incorrectly. In today's world, it is our lifestyle that is the plaque, rather than bacteria.
My vision is to build self awareness, inspire and empower individuals to achieve their optimal health, well being, performance and vitality. I believe that education and providing the right environment for healing is crucial.
In many and perhaps most medical offices nationwide, the standard has dropped to an indescribable low. Not because doctors don't care. Moreover it is the large drug companies, aided by misinformed legislators that have hijacked public policy and created a profit motivated system, seeking to benefit financially from management of disease rather than its cure.

My philosophy is simple: individuals require personalized meaningful attention. It takes time to identify a problem. And its takes time to bring about change. As a practitioner, I understand that by working together with my patient, better treatment outcomes are possible.

This I believe...
I believe that human beings are complex, self regulating, and are equipped with infinite recuperative powers.
I believe less exposure to modern medicine is best but if modern medical intervention is necessary, as little as possible is also best.
Running comes naturally to our human body, but winning a 4000 meter Olympic competition does not. It takes awareness, training and desire to do that. Such is the requirement for healing sometimes.
I believe I have a responsibility to my patients, to those that come to me for help, to give them honest advice and trusted counsel. My business interests, those interests that provide for my financial welfare will always take a secondary position to thorough, honest, and fair evaluation of the issues a person is facing.
Chiropractic physicians practice a distinct method of primary health care. It is the art, science, philosophy and practice of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illness...emphasizing nature's inherent self-healing process...through patient education and the rational use of holistic and natural therapeutics.
At the core of Natural Medicine is the commitment to a safer planet, the belief that our health is a reflection of our environment, and the understanding that the accumulation of toxins both in and outside our body is a major threat to our well being. Doctors of natural medicine ask that we use fewer drugs and more common sense; things like improving diet and lifestyle. A diet that is balanced, mostly fresh, and organic when possible, gives us the antioxidant edge to combat exposure to environmental toxins. Do more life promoting activities - they upgrade our energy and make us less susceptible to illness. When a problem doesn't resolve on its own, therapies such as detoxification, cleansing juice fasts, super-supplementation, acupuncture, corrective diet and specialized homeopathic and herbal medicines are of great value.
Having completed a four-year graduate-level chiropractic medical school, Dr. Feldman has been educated in the same basic sciences as physicians and has also studied holistic and non-toxic approaches to therapy with an emphasis on disease prevention and wellness, clinical nutrition, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, psychology and lifestyle counseling for personal health. He has completed the National Chiropractic Licensing Examination which is required to gain licensure in all 50 states. This exam covers anatomy, physiology, psychology, pathology, biochemistry, microbiology and immunology as well as clinical and physical diagnosis, laboratory diagnosis, diagnostic imaging, pharmacology, nutrition, physical medicine, psychology and lifestyle counseling.
